HALLOWEEN CANDY BUYBACK 2016
OHIOSmiles offers a chance to win an IPad Mini in exchange for Halloween treats!
Trick-or-treaters can bring in their excess candy this Halloween to OHIOSmiles, the office of Dr. Denise Antalis. They will then be entered for a chance to win an IPad Mini in exchange for the candy. Trick-or-treaters will receive one entry for every pound of the cavity-provoking candy they bring in! Candy must be in its’ original packaging to be accepted.
Global sugar consumption for children increases by about 2% annually and is currently at 50 million tons per year. This means parents need to be sure their children’s teeth are cared for now more than ever. Not only can candy damage our children’s teeth, but it can cause hyperactivity and weight gain.
While our children’s healthy mouths are vastly important, the second leg of the candy’s journey will surely bring joy to your heart. Once collected, candy is then shipped in care packages to our troops overseas. These care packages serve as a reminder of our love and support.
Candy is being collected at OHIOSmiles (1500 Deerpath Drive, Cambridge, OH) from now until November 4th during normal business hours. Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; Wednesday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm; and Friday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please visit or call 740-439-2501 for more information regarding the local buyback.
